Hi, I’m Jon Wilson, the owner of Triad Managed IT, where we help small businesses stay secure with cybersecurity, compliance assistance, and managed IT services.
My journey in IT started in 2005 when I launched Resolution Computer Services, which eventually grew into what is now Triad Managed IT. I’ve worked in IT for nearly two decades, but my real turning point came in 2023 when I experienced firsthand how devastating a cyberattack can be. The company I worked for at the time was hit by ransomware from a Russian hacker group due to weak security measures. They lost everything—years of financial data, proprietary applications, and customer records—all because they lacked proper cybersecurity and offsite backups. The business barely survived, and the recovery was expensive and painful.
That experience opened my eyes. I knew small businesses faced these same threats but often lacked the resources or knowledge to protect themselves. That’s why I shifted my focus to helping businesses avoid this nightmare scenario.
